This article highlights, based on a review of scientific literature, the influence of soil biological activity indicators on fruit yield and quality formation in pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) plantations. It was shown that rhizosphere microorganisms, enzymatic activity, organic matter mineralization, and nutrient cycling are closely related to fruit productivity and quality parameters. Literature analysis confirms that the application of biological stimulants, modern agrobiotechnological approaches, and Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) in Punica granatum L. plantations can increase yield by 10-15% and improve fruit quality by enhancing dry matter content, sugars, ascorbic acid, and phenolic compounds. Studies in this field are still insufficient under the conditions of the Fergana region; therefore, comprehensive experimental research is required.
