Formation of boll number, boll weight, and productivity traits in developed cotton lines

Abstract

From the studied cotton lines involving the BT gene sample (S-6524 × BT), new lines with a high number of bolls, greater boll weight, and a high yield of raw cotton per plant were selected. The selection was based on the results of other economically valuable traits with the aim of developing new breeding materials and cotton varieties.
