Opportunities for applying Chinese technologies to improve the efficiency of using technical and technological potential in agriculture

In the Andijan region, the introduction of Chinese cotton cultivation technologies has led to significant improvements in yield and water conservation. This article analyzes the effectiveness of innovative methods, such as plastic mulch sowing and drip irrigation, for growing local and foreign cotton varieties using evidence from cluster organizations and farms. Based on statistical data and field experiments, a comparative analysis with traditional cultivation methods demonstrates a 1.5–2-fold increase in yield per hectare and a 40–50% reduction in water consumption. The economic effects of introducing water-saving technologies across different districts of the region are also evaluated.
