This article analyzes the major economic challenges affecting the development of small business and private entrepreneurship in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study examines the role of small businesses in the national economy, as well as financial, taxation, infrastructure, and human capital constraints that limit their growth. It proposes practical solutions, including expanding access to financial resources, simplifying the taxation system, introducing digital technologies, and promoting innovative entrepreneurship. The findings contribute to strengthening the theoretical and methodological foundations for effective small business support and sustainable economic development in Uzbekistan.
