Economic and agroecological aspects of rice cultivation on saline marginal lands (A case study of the Khorezm region)

Abstract

This article analyzes the economic essence of marginal lands and their significance for agriculture from a theoretical perspective. Using the Khorezm region as a case study, it examines the condition of saline marginal lands, the efficiency of their utilization, and their agroecological characteristics. The findings indicate that the efficiency of marginal land use depends not only on natural factors but also on economic conditions. The study provides scientific conclusions and practical recommendations for the rational use of saline lands and improving the efficiency of rice cultivation.
