Assessment of drought resistance of durum wheat varieties and lines under laboratory conditions

Abstract

The article presents the results of determining the drought resistance of 20 varieties and lines of rainfed durum wheat, studied in a competitive variety trial plot, under laboratory conditions. It was established that in a 15% sucrose solution, seed germination decreased by an average of 13%, while root length decreased by up to 35%.
