This article examines the impact of the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) on sales performance and economic efficiency in small business e-commerce. Drawing on official e-commerce statistics of Uzbekistan for 2023-2025, international experimental evidence, and research by Uzbek researchers, this article examines the economic mechanisms of how AI-based recommendation systems, smart chatbots, demand forecasting, and marketing automation affect online sales. The research results show that AI can improve sales performance by reducing information asymmetry and enhancing customer engagement. However, the economic benefits depend on data quality, implementation costs, and management capabilities. The article provides practical recommendations for the sustainable implementation of AI technologies by small e-commerce enterprises in Uzbekistan.
