Statistical indicators of higher education institutions operating in Uzbekistan and their dynamics

Abstract

This article analyzes the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years to develop the higher education system, the number of operating higher education institutions, their forms (state, non-state and foreign), the dynamics of the number of students and the number of teaching staff based on statistical data. The share of women among students and changes in the territorial distribution of higher education institutions are also scientifically studied, and conclusions are drawn on further improving the system.
