Application of the concept of intellectual and technological potential in the region

Abstract

This article studies the economic content of the concept of intellectual and technological potential theoretically and methodologically. Within the framework of the study, the role of intellectual and technological potential in modern economic development, its importance in stimulating innovative activity, and its impact on regional and inter-sectoral development were analyzed. Based on a review of scientific literature, existing approaches to this concept were summarized and an author's interpretation was formed. In the course of the study, based on a comparative analysis and a systematic approach, the aspects of intellectual and technological potential that differ from the concept of information were identified and their impact on the efficiency of economic processes was substantiated. Also, the strategic importance of intellectual and technological potential in ensuring economic growth, competitiveness, and innovative development was revealed through the developed diagram and comparative table. The results of the study allow us to evaluate intellectual and technological potential as a priority factor of economic development and develop scientific conclusions and practical recommendations aimed at its effective management.
