Agrotechnological features of pomegranate cultivation in the Surkhandarya region

Abstract

Surkhandarya region is located in the southernmost part of Uzbekistan. It includes the Surkhan-Sherabad oasis and the surrounding mountains. The climate of the northern part of the Surkhandarya oasis is a dry subtropical climate. However, the higher you go into the surrounding mountains, the climate changes. The climate of Surkhandarya region is seasonal and varies depending on the season. The climate of the region is dry sharply continental, with rapid changes, which is favorable for the cultivation of subtropical crops, including pomegranate.
