Effect of pre-sowing treatment of cotton seeds with organic-based stimulants on seedling emergence

Abstract

This article investigates the effect of pre-sowing treatment of cotton seeds with the biostimulants Maltamin, Marvarid, and Regoplant on seedling emergence. The results demonstrate that seed treatment at the recommended application rates increased field germination by 7.4–11.8% compared with the control and produced healthy, uniform seedlings. The findings confirm the effectiveness of organic-based stimulants in improving cotton seed germination.
