The efficiency of small business entities operating in the Fergana Valley is a multifactorial economic category and cannot be adequately assessed solely on the basis of production volume, profitability, or export performance. The final performance of an enterprise is influenced by the interrelated effects of the level of utilization of available resources, financial stability, the ability to market and sell products, innovation and digital potential, human capital, and the quality of institutional governance. From this perspective, the present study is based on the principle of a multi-criteria integrated assessment of enterprise performance.
