Organizational and economic characteristics of industrial enterprises

Abstract

The article examines the organizational and economic characteristics of industrial enterprise operations based on a systems approach. It establishes the necessity of evaluating an industrial enterprise's activities by considering the interrelationships between its organizational structure, production specialization, resource potential, production volume, financial results, efficiency of labor resource utilization, and level of digitalization. Based on official statistical data, the development dynamics of Uzbekistan's industry from 2020 to 2025 are analyzed, identifying the priority role of the manufacturing sector within the industrial structure. An approach is proposed for the comprehensive assessment of an enterprise's organizational and economic status by integrating indicators related to organization, production technology, finance and economics, labor and personnel, and digital development. The study concludes that the economic efficiency of an industrial enterprise depends not only on production and financial outcomes but also directly on the management structure, utilization of human capital, innovation, and the level of integration of digital management tools.
