Developing the strategic leadership competencies of managers in the context of digital transformation

This article theoretically and empirically examines the need to develop the strategic leadership competencies of organizational leaders in the context of digital transformation. The rapid integration of digital technologies into organizational operations requires leaders not only to possess traditional management skills but also strategic thinking, digital literacy, and data-driven decision-making, change management, supporting innovative initiatives, and developing human capital. The study analyzed the dynamics of digital infrastructure development in organizations based on official data from the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2021-2025. The analysis results showed a significant expansion in access to the internet and the use of local computer networks. On this basis, an author's model aimed at developing the strategic leadership competencies of managers was proposed.
