The article examines the types of assessment of motor vehicle use in the region and the stages of their development. It also analyses the characteristics and evolution of motor vehicle assessment, its role in improving the quality of life of the population, measures to enhance the reliability of assessment results, and the fundamental differences between the assessment of motor vehicles and the valuation of other types of assets.
