Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of international experience in regional governance under the green economy framework and evaluates the prospects for its application in Uzbekistan. The study examines the green development policies, regional governance mechanisms, and institutional approaches implemented in the European Union, South Korea, Japan, and China. In addition, practical recommendations are proposed to promote green investments, improve environmental governance, introduce digital management tools, and ensure sustainable regional development. The findings contribute to enhancing the efficiency of regional governance, strengthening environmental sustainability, and expanding the implementation of green economy principles in Uzbekistan.
