Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-economic development of Surkhandarya Region and its labor resource potential. The study examines the main sectors of the regional economy, demographic processes, employment, the formation and spatial distribution of labor resources, and the efficiency of their utilization. The key factors influencing the effective use of the region's economic and labor potential are identified. The quantitative and qualitative characteristics of labor resources, the level of professional qualifications, the employment structure, and the regional characteristics of the labor market are analyzed.
