Abstract

The article substantiates the key directions for integrating environmental and economic performance indicators, implementing resource- and energy-efficient technologies, adopting innovative solutions, and improving environmental management mechanisms in railway transport enterprises. Particular attention is devoted to the role of digital technologies, advanced management approaches, and environmental innovations in assessing and enhancing the environmental and economic efficiency of railway transport enterprises. The findings of the study provide a basis for developing practical mechanisms aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of railway transport enterprises, optimizing production costs, and reducing their environmental footprint.
