Abstract

This study analyzes the soil salinity levels and the meliorative status of irrigated lands in Oqoltin District, Syrdarya Region, during 2023-2024. The research was based on official monitoring data provided by the Syrdarya Regional Meliorative Expertise Center. Comparative and statistical methods were used to evaluate the dynamics of soil salinity. The results showed an increase in the area of non-saline and slightly saline lands, while the areas of moderately and strongly saline soils decreased. These findings confirm the effectiveness of meliorative measures, particularly salt leaching and the proper operation of drainage systems, in improving soil conditions. The results of this study provide a scientific basis for improving the meliorative status of irrigated lands, enhancing soil fertility, and developing practical recommendations for the sustainable management of agricultural land.
